Kylian Mbappé’s Lawyer Denies Rape Allegations Following Stockholm Trip

Kylian Mbappé’s lawyer, Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard, has strongly refuted media claims suggesting the striker commented on allegations stemming from his recent trip to Stockholm.

Reports from French outlets Le Parisien and RMC Sports indicated that Mbappé had consensual sex with a young woman during his visit, noting he has messages from her that reflect a positive encounter. However, it remains unclear whether the complainant in the rape case is the same woman who sent those messages.

While recovering from a thigh injury, Mbappé traveled to Sweden with friends from October 9 to 11. After their departure, a woman reported an allegation of rape to the police. In response, Mbappé labeled the reports as “fake news” on social media, suggesting a connection to ongoing financial disputes with Paris Saint-Germain.

A Swedish prosecutor confirmed that an investigation has been initiated, though Mbappé has not been officially named. Canu-Bernard stated that the 2018 World Cup winner is “at ease” because “he has done nothing wrong.”
