Under Ola Olukoyede’s leadership, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has recovered more than N200 billion and achieved approximately 3,000 convictions in one year.

In October 2023, President Bola Tinubu appointed Olukoyede as chairman of the anti-graft agency. Since then, EFCC spokesman Wilson Uwujaren reported notable achievements in combating corruption.

“We’ve recovered over N200 billion in just one year under Olukoyede, not including significant amounts in dollars and euros. Additionally, there have been over 3,000 convictions, which we find impressive,” Uwujaren said.
