Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc clinches victory at the US Grand Prix amid a clash between Norris and Verstappen.

After the race, Verstappen and Norris are separated by 57 points in the drivers’ championship standings, with Leclerc in third place.

Charles Leclerc of Ferrari secured his third Formula One victory of the season by winning the United States Grand Prix, finishing ahead of teammate Carlos Sainz, who placed second. Leclerc’s winning time was 1:35:09.639, 8.562 seconds ahead of Sainz, marking a strong showing for Ferrari at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. “It wasn’t an easy weekend, but I had confidence in the race,” Leclerc stated, emphasizing the team’s performance.

In the championship battle, Lando Norris and Max Verstappen experienced a controversial clash. Norris initially passed Verstappen for third but was later penalized five seconds for leaving the track during the maneuver, dropping him to fourth. Norris described the penalty as a “momentum killer” for his title challenge and acknowledged the competitive pace of Ferrari, stating that even if he had started first, he likely wouldn’t have finished in the top spots.

Verstappen, the reigning champion, maintains a 57-point lead over Norris in the standings, while the constructors’ championship sees McLaren ahead of Red Bull by 40 points, with Ferrari closing in. The race also saw Lewis Hamilton fail to finish after spinning out.
