A woman, Victoria Thomas Bowen, 25, from Clacton, has admitted to assault after throwing a McDonald’s milkshake at Reform UK leader Nigel Farage during the general election campaign.
The incident occurred on 4 June as Farage was leaving a pub in Clacton-on-Sea. Bowen also pleaded guilty to criminal damage, having caused £17.50 worth of damage to a jacket belonging to Farage’s security officer.
Sentencing is scheduled for December, with the judge noting the seriousness of the unprovoked attack.
