Peter Obi Calls for Reversal of Sudden Fuel Price Increase

Peter Obi, the former Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, has publicly condemned the recent fuel price hike in Nigeria, urging the Federal Government to reverse the decision.

Obi criticized the move, calling it insensitive and unfortunate, particularly as it marks the second significant price increase in just a month. The price of petrol rose to ₦1,030 per litre, following a previous hike from ₦615 to ₦897 per litre in September.

Obi called on President Bola Tinubu, who also serves as Minister of Petroleum, to explain the decision and provide alternatives for the public.
