New details have emerged about how crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, spent his six-month jail term. After being convicted for naira mutilation in April 2024, Bobrisky was moved between several facilities, including Ikoyi, Medium, and Maximum Security Custodial Centres in Kirikiri.
Sources revealed that Bobrisky was shielded from other inmates, likely placed in a special “VIP” cell, typically reserved for well-behaved or high-profile prisoners. Despite these claims, the Nigerian Correctional Service denied any preferential treatment, stating that all inmates receive equal care.
